the VII International Song Festival-Competition

for children and youth with special needs 

«Golden Bird»

Song Festival-Competition for children and youth with special needs «Golden Bird» (hereinafter  –  the Festival-Competition) is held with the aim to create a platform for singing talents of children and youth with disabilities realization, their self-affirmation and integration into society promotion, as well as to draw public attention to children and youth with special needs.

We strive to continue the traditions and values of Ukrainian art even during the quarantine period so that  the works of talented children and youth with special needs must be heard and creatively implemented.

The organizers of the Festival-Competition are NGO «Center» Cultural Strategy – XXI», trademark «RUTA», CC «Gallery – XXI»,  Vinnytsia City Council Department of Culture, Vinnytsia Regional State Administration Department of Culture and Creative Industries of the Department of Humanitarian Policy. The foreign partner of the Festival-Competition is the Foundation of Initiatives for People with Special Needs «PROOMNIBUS» (the Republic of Poland), which holds the annual song festival for young people with special needs «Chechochin Creative Meetings».

The Festival-Competition is financed by the NGO «Center» Cultural Strategy – XXI» in accordance with the approved cost estimates and at the expense of other sources and revenues not prohibited by the current legislation of Ukraine. The festival-competition is open for partnership.

 

Tasks of the Festival-Competition:

– to find and  to reveal talented performers among children and youth with special needs;

– to further develop the  talents of children and youth with special needs through cooperation with leading children's and youth festivals-competitions, including foreign ones, with the view to further support and promotion of Ukrainian modern folk and popular song new tendencies;

– to promote the process of social rehabilitation of children and youth with special needs,  to reveal talented  children and  to develop their creative potential.

– to deepen international creative contacts.

– to  popularize folk and modern music and singing.  

The general management of the organization of the Festival-Competition is carried out by the organizing committee, which is approved by the project initiators.

Organizational committee:

– provides a set of activities for the Festival-Competition preparation and holding;

– approves the festival-competition regulations;

– approves the jury, which consists of famous culture and arts activists, authors and performers,  guests of honour  of the festival-competition;

– organizes all stages of the Festival-Competition, Gala Concert and winners and prize-winners award ceremony;

– organizes advertising of the Festival-competition, post-announcements and media issues;

– attracts sponsors and patrons of the Festival-Competition;

– resolves other organizational issues related to the preparation and holding of the Festival-Competition

.

The festival-competition is held within the following age groups:

– 1 age category (up to 10 participants) – 10 to 15 years old;

– 2 age category (up to 10 participants) – 16 to 23 years old.

Regardless of the age category, two participants in a wheelchair are allowed.

 

1. The first stage – acceptance of applications – Desember 25, 2021 to March 15, 2022.

2. The second stage – qualifying –  March 15, 2022 to March 24, 2022.

 

To participate in the Festival-Competition, you must pass an audition in the qualifying round.

At the stage of the first and second selection stages, participants need to:

– fill in the application form (Appendix №1);

– record two different songs (own choice), one of which  is in Ukrainian, performed acappella, (recording in digital format MP3);

– make a copy of the certificate confirming the limited functionality of the participant;

– for  the participants of the first age category to make a copy of the birth certificate and  the identification code, the second age category –  a copy of  the passport and  the identification code.

All the above materials should be sent by March 15, 2022 to the e-mail address: art-shik@ukr.net or to the address:

By March 25, 2022, the selection jury defines the participants of the final competition, who will be notified the same way as the materials for the first and second selection stages were provided.

 

3. The third stage - the final  -  April 15-16, 2022.

 

All participants of the final competition must arrive in  Vinnytsia on April 14 during the day, or on April 15 in the morning accompanied by one of the parents or legal representatives (guardian or trustee). The transport costs of the participants of the Festival-contest take over; you must also buy a return ticket on April 17 of 2022.

Participants of the final competition must purchase medical insurance for the entire period of the Festival-competition (four days), and also have the originals of documents, copies of which were provided at the first and second stages.

All participants in the final competition together with the attendants are provided with accommodation, free three meals a day, medical support (therapeutic and psychological) during the final competition.

Participants in the final contest listening perform two different kinds of songs from the already announced, one of which is in Ukrainian. The song should sound in "live" performance under own support or under the "minus" phonogram. The phonogram must be recorded with maximum sound quality and provided by the participant on two separate flash-drives.

 

At the Gala Concert, the contestant performs one song from two competitions at the jury's option.

 

The order of the final competition :

 

April 14, 2022 - arrival, rehearsal;

April 15, 2022 - Competition;

April 16, 2022 - Gala Concert and award winners.

The time and place of the final competition will be announced additionally.

 

 The jury of the Festival-contest is approved by the organizing committee. The jury of the preliminary and final listening is created to identify the winners. The jury is attended by well-known figures of culture and arts, authors and performers, poets, composers, honorary guests of the festival-competition.

 

The jury evaluates participants according to the following criteria :

 

-repertoire of the contestant (according to the age of the participant);

-vocal technique;

-general artistic impression. 

 

The winners of the Festival-competition in each age category are awarded with diplomas of the Festival-competition and valuable gifts. In addition, the winner of the Grand Prix and the first two prize places at the invitation of the PRO  OMNIBUS Initiative for Disabled Persons will take part in the annual Chechocinskaya Artists' Meeting in Poland for the young people with disabilities.

 

Other conditions:

– The festival-competition is open.

– Jury decisions are not subject to discussion and appeal.

– The Organizing Committee has the right to change the Festival-Competition  conditions  before the final stage.

Golden Bird

for children and youth with special needs

 2019 year of Vinnytsia

         April 11-13, 2019 the  International Song Festival-competition "Golden Bird" for children and youth with special needs was held in Vinnitsa .

The founders and organizers of the Festival-competition were NGO "Culture Cultural Center XXI", RCCM "Art-shik", TM "RUTA", CC "Gallery - XXI", Department of Culture of Vinnytsia City Council with the assistance of the mayor of St. Sergiy Morgunov, Department of Social and the youth policy of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, under the patronage of the first lady of Ukraine, Marina Poroshenko.

This social project was supported by: PRO OMNIBUS initiative fund for people with disabilities in the Republic of Poland, jewelry company DASORO, People's Deputy of Ukraine Serhiy Kudlaenko, NGO "Best Artist", Poroshenko Charitable Foundation, Vinnytsia Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Vinnytsia Children's Music School №1, NGO "Space of the Future", party "Social justice" and platform "Voice of the people", sanatorium "Podillya" of Khmilnyk, TM "Avis", Vinnytsia regional council of women, wedding salon "Vineya", travel agency "GOU -TRAVEL », hotel« Podillya », «Lvivskaya Zukernaya», Mille Fiori flower shop, Ukraine University, Art Cafe, Gaistruk ARTS studio, Hormonium Clinic, Vital Studio of Natalia Loorez, GRACE Agency, Vinnytsia Regional Organization All-Ukrainian Disabled People's Organization Soyuz organizations of invalids of Ukraine ".

In the Festival-competition 21 contestants of two age categories took part: 10-15 years old, 16-23 years from different regions of Ukraine, in particular: Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, Kirovograd, Lviv, Zakarpattia. The bridge is Kharkiv, Lviv, Kropivnitsky, Vinnytsia.

 

Younger age category:  Barabash Katerina 11 years old, Dereniuk Victoria 15 years old, Korkishchenko Dmitry 10 years old, Kovalchuk Anastasia 14 years old, Sukhonos Maria 15 years old, Okhrimenko Oleg 12 years old, Umrikhina Vlad, 13 years old, Chornaya Veronika 15york, Margvelashvili Luka (Georgia) 11 years, Dubanovskaya Amelia (Republic of Poland) is 15 years old.

 

Senior age category:  Barbanova Tatyana 18 years old, Besyadovskaya Svetlana 16 years old, Gritsov Ivan 23 years old, Melnyk Daryna 21 years old, Mikhailenko Sofia 16 years old, Opuchko Tatyana 16 years old, Tishchenko Veronika 17 years old, Zhadan Victoria 20 years old, Orel Aleksandra (Poland) 19 years old, Chris Joanna (Poland) 20 years old, and a contestant from Georgia - Mamedov Shaban 18 years old.

 

The composition of the jury

 

1. Bushinskaya Lyudmila Stepanivna - organizer, founder of the Festival, chairman of the NGO "Cultural Strategy - XXI".
2. Shvets Iryna Borisovna - the head of the jury, People's Artist of Ukraine.
3. Kozyuk Vladimir - People's Artist of Ukraine, Head of the NGO "Best Artist"
4. Yaremenko Victoria Oleksiivna - chief specialist of the department of cultural and artistic institutions of the Department of Vinnytsia City Council.
5. Sotor Miroslav is the head of the PRO OMNIBUS initiative fund for people with disabilities, Republic of Poland.
6. Burdain-Public Tetyana Vasylivna - Director of the Vinnytsia Children's Music School №1, Candidate of Art.
7. Stepanchuk Viktor Mikhailovich - Deputy Director of Vinnytsia Children's Music School №1, Head of NGO "Space of the Future".

The festival-contest began on April 11, 2019 at 11.00 in the Vinnytsia Children's Music School # 1.

The final tour (Gala - concert and awarding) took place on April 13, 2019 at 16.00 in the Vinnytsia Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater named after M.Sadovsky.

As a result of the intense vocal competition, the victory (Grand Prix) was awarded to the nineteen-year contestant - Alexander Orlov Republic of Poland. First place in the senior age group - Shaban Mammadov from Georgia (Tbilisi), 2nd place - Chris Joanna of the Republic of Poland, 3rd place - Opuchko Tetiana of Vinnytsia. In the younger age group, the places were determined as follows: Amelia Dubanovska Republic of Poland, 1st place - Chernaya Venonika, 3rd place - Sukhonos Maria, both girls from the Kirovograd region.

The Grand Prix winner received a cash reward of 15 thousand hryvnia. Contestants who took the first places received a cash prize of 10 thousand hryvnia each, second places - 7 thousand hryvnias, third places - 5 thousand hryvnia and the rest of the participants 2 thousand hryvnia. The winner and prize-winning places were awarded with valuable figurines from the jeweler company "DASORO" and TM "RUTA". Also, all participants received Diplomas, cash prizes, valuable gifts from organizers and sponsors, flowers from the studio "Mille Fiori".

         In addition, the leaders of the PRO OMNIBUS Foundation chose three Festival winners to attend the XXIII International Song Festival for Young People with Disabilities "Chechochinskie creative meetings", which will take place in July 2019 in the city of Chekochynek of the Republic of Poland. The corresponding certificates and invitations from the organizers of this event to the PRO OMNIBUS Initiative for Disabled Persons have been awarded to the winners.

The cultural program included a study tour of the city, a review of the performance of Vinnitsa Music and Drama Theater named after MK Sadovsky, a visit to the Museum of Science, the Retro Museum, and the Rock Festival in the city palace of arts "Zorya".

On April 19-21, 2018, the 2nd International Song Festival-Competition "Golden Bird" for children and youth with special needs took place in Vinnitsa.

At April 21, 2018, a gala concert and awards to the participants of the Second International Song Festival Festival "Golden Bird" took place. Children and young people with special needs at full disclosed their vocal abilities and talents to the audience.

The founders and organizers of the Festival-competition were the NGO Center "Cultural Strategy - XXI", RCCM Gallery "Art-shik", TM "RUTA", CC "Gallery - XXI", Department of Culture of Vinnitsa City Council, Department of Social and Youth Policy of Vinnytsia Oblast the state administration, under the patronage of the first lady of Ukraine Marina Poroshenko.

 

The owner of the Grand Prix this year was Anastasiya Tarnavska (Khmelnytska oblast), sixteen, and Tornike Turabelidze from Georgia took 1st place in the senior age group, 2nd place - Melnyk Daryna (Kyiv region), 3rd place - Choban Marina (Khmelnytsky region.). In the younger age group, the places were determined as follows: the first place was won by the Vinnytsia - Opuchko Tatyana, 2nd place - Chornaya Venonika, 3rd place - Umrikhina Vlad, both girls from the Kirovograd region.

By agreement with our foreign partner, the PRO OMNIBUS (Poland) Initiative for People with Disabilities Foundation, Poland, for the annual International Song Festival for Young People with Special Needs "Chechochinskie creative meetings", will go: Tarnavsky Anastasia, Chornaya Venonika and Tornike Turabelidze.

 

All winners of the competition have received Diplomas of the Festival, money awards, valuable gifts from organizations, sponsors, entrepreneurs and just not indifferent people.
